  7. भारत में कुछ किसान ऐसे भी होते हैं, जो मजदूरी के रूप में खेती किसानी करते हैं और उसके बदले में तनख्वाह लेते हैं।
  8. किसान वर्षा पर निर्भर रहते हैं, क्योकि उनकी खेती वर्षा के कारण फसलों का अच्छा उत्पादन कर पाती है।
  9. भारत की अर्थव्यवस्था को मजबूत बनाये रखने मे भी किसानों का महत्वपूर्ण योगदान है।
  10. किसान खेती करने के लिए विशेष रूप से ट्रैक्टर, हल तथा अन्य आधुनिक उपकरणों का भी उपयोग करते हैं।
