  6. जंगल के माध्यम से हमें शुद्ध ऑक्सीजन प्राप्त होती है, जिसके वजह से हम सबको ऑक्सीजन की कमी नहीं झेलनी पड़ती हैं।
  7. प्रतिवर्ष “विश्व वानिकी दिवस” 21 मार्च को मनाया जाता है, जिसके अंतर्गत जंगलों के सुरक्षा के प्रति जागरूकता फैलाई जाती है।
  8. जंगल के माध्यम से मिट्टी के कटाव को रोका जाता है, जिससे बाढ़ के खतरे से बचा जा सकता है।
  9. जंगलों के होने से ना सिर्फ मनुष्य को फायदा है बल्कि पशु और पक्षियों के लिए भी जंगल का होना जरुरी है, क्योकि यदि जंगल नहीं रहा तो कई पशु पक्षी भी जीवित नहीं रहेंगे।
  10. जंगल में विभिन्न प्रकार की लकड़ी पाई जाती हैं, जिसमें चंदन, टीक, रोजवुड, शीशम आदि लकडिया शामिल हैं।
