  1. सरदार वल्लभभाई पटेल जी का जन्म 31अक्टूबर 1875 को गुजरात राज्य के नडियाद शहर मे हुआ था।
  2. सरदार वल्लभभाई पटेल जी के पिता जी का नाम झवेर पटेल तथा उनकी माता जी का नाम लाड़बा देवी था।
  3. सरदार वल्लभभाई पटेल जी ने करमसाद में अपनी मध्य विद्यालय की शिक्षा पूरी की थी और वर्ष 1897 में नडियाद के एक हाई स्कूल से अपनी मैट्रिक की पढ़ाई पूरी की थी।

  6. वर्ष 1917 मे गोधरा मे मोहनदास करमचंद गाँधी से सरदार पटेल की मुलाक़ात हुयी थी और वह गाँधी जी के साथ कांग्रेस मे शामिल हुये थे।
  7. वर्ष 1920 मे सरदार वल्लभभाई पटेल गाँधी जी के साथ असहयोग आंदोलन मे शामिल हुये थे।
  8. वर्ष 1928 में खेड़ा आन्दोलन से सरदार वल्लभभाई पटेल ने अपने प्रथम संघर्ष की शुरुआत की थी और उसी वर्ष 1928 में किसानों के प्रमुख बारडोली सत्याग्रह का नेतृत्व भी सरदार पटेल ने किया था।
  9. सरदार वल्लभभाई पटेल स्वतंत्र भारत के प्रथम गृह मंत्री रह चुके है और उन्हें वर्ष 1991 मे भारत रत्न की उपाधि देकर सम्मानित भी किया गया है।
  10. वर्ष 1928 में सरदार वल्लभभाई पटेल जी ने बारडोली सत्याग्रह का नेतृत्व किया और उस सत्याग्रह में जीत मिलने पर बारडोली की महिलाओं ने वल्लभभाई पटेल को सरदार की उपाधि से सम्मानित किया था।

  1. 31 अक्टूबर 2014 को प्रतिवर्ष सरदार वल्लभभाई पटेल की जयंती को राष्ट्रीय एकता दिवस के रूप में मनाया जाता है।
  2. वर्ष 1947 मे भारत और पाकिस्तान के बीच युद्ध हुआ था, उस वक्त सरदार वल्लभभाई पटेल भारत के गृह मंत्री थे।
  3. सरदार वल्लभभाई पटेल ने छुआछूत और जातिगत भेदभाव को कम करने का प्रयास किया तथा हिन्दू और मुस्लिम समुदाय की लड़ाई खत्म कि थी।
  4. सरदार वल्लभभाई पटेल को अचानक दिल का दौरा पड़ने के कारण 15 दिसंबर 1950 को उनकी मुंबई मे मृत्यु हो गयी।
  5. वल्लभभाई पटेल की सबसे बड़ी प्रतिमा गुजरात के नर्मदा जिले में स्थित है, जिसका उद्घाटन 31 अक्तूबर 2018 को किया गया था और इस प्रतिमा की ऊंचाई 182 मीटर।

  3. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel completed his middle school education in Karamsad and completed his matriculation in the year 1897 from a high school in Nadiad or Petlad.
  4. Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel started his law practice in Godhra in the year 1900.
