  1. चीता एक मांसाहारी जानवर है, जो मुख्य रूप से अफ्रीका के घने जंगलों में पाया जाता है।
  2. चीता बिल्ली की प्रजाति का जानवर है और संरचनात्मक रूप से भी यह बिल्ली की तरह ही होता हैं।

  7. चीता कभी भी अपने पंजों को मोड़ नहीं पाता है और इसीलिए वह पेड़ पर नहीं चढ़ पाता है।
  8. चीता 120 किलोमीटर प्रति घंटे की रफ्तार से दौड़ सकता है, जो अन्य किसी जानवर की अपेक्षा बहुत ज्यादा है।
  9. नर चीते का वजन 90 से 135 किलोग्राम तथा मादा चीते का वजन 65 से 170 किलोग्राम तक होता है।
  10. किसी भी चीते का जीवन चक्र तीन चरणों में पूरा होता है, जिसमे से पहला है शावक जो जन्म से लेकर 18 महीने तक होता है, दूसरा किशोरावस्था जो 18 महीने से 24 महीने का होता है और तीसरा व्यस्क अवस्था होती है, जिसमें 24 महीने से ज्यादा आयु वाले चीते शामिल होते हैं।
