  7. नवंबर महीने में सरकार के तरफ से शीत कालीन छुट्टियां दी जाती है और कई बार अधिक सर्दी होने से राज्य के कलेक्टर द्वारा इन सर्दियों की छुट्टियों में बढ़ोतरी कर दी जाती है।
  8. ठंड से निजात दिलाने के लिए विद्यालय और कॉलेज में आगमन का समय देरी से निर्धारित किया जाता है।
  9. विद्यालय में सर्दी से बचाव के लिए व्यायाम करवाया जाता है, जिससे बच्चों को सर्दी कम लगती है।
  10. सर्दियों में जगह जगह पर लोग चाय पीते और अलाव जलाकर तपते हुए मिलते है।
